Our company has successfully acquired Kosher certification for warehouse storage from Europe's largest and oldest Kosher certification body, KLBD [Kashrut Division of London Beth Din] (the agency in Japan is "Yama Mizrah Co. Ltd.") headquartered in London as of 11 September 2015. The certification issued by this organization can be used widely in many countries which require certifications such as Israel, and is acknowledged by major certification bodies in the world.
There are currently 1,151 organizations recognizing Kosher certifications, with KLBD in London, as well as OU and OK in New York being the three largest organizations in the world.
The certification was received by our "Tokyo Odaiba Distribution Center" located in the Odaiba district, and is the first of its kind to be acquired by a domestic logistics company.
We have also proceeded to acquire Halal certification in April this year to cater to Muslim needs, and will provide safe provisions of food to more than 12 million Jews in the world alongside our Kosher certification.

Kosher means "suitability" and "proper" in Hebrew, and is an ideology that conforms to Judaism precepts. Kosher certification refers to the authentication issued by religious masters known as rabbis for raw materials such as food and food manufacturing process verified through on-site inspections.
Kosher products are subject to unannounced inspections by rabbis, and are not limited to simply raw materials, but also extend to the entire manufacturing process including the machinery used. With both organic and inorganic foods being recognized as "healthy and safe foods", the Kosher market is increasing in size as health-conscious consumers in advanced countries such as the United States are now seeking out Kosher Having this image of safety and security of Kosher products has received much attention overseas and is considered to be important for the many foreigners that will be coming to Japan for the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympic Games in 2020. Distribution of Kosher products is also expected to increase with the growing number of manufacturing industries acquiring Kosher certifications in Japan.
Under these circumstances, we have established a storage space exclusively for Kosher products under room temperature in Tokyo Odaiba Distribution Center, and provide storage services mainly for alcoholic beverages in the Kosher certified warehouse with the acquisition of Kosher certification for logistics.
We will work hard to position ourselves as a Kosher certified "designated warehouse" with the impression of "safe, clean, appropriate and healthy" and fulfill our responsibilities by absorbing Kosher knowledge and learning higher quality control whilst complying to the Kosher certification criteria.
