With the purpose of establishing a local joint venture with Gothong Southern Shipping Lines Inc., a container shipping company (Headquarters: Cebu, the Philippines) affiliated to One Wilson Place Holding Inc., a holding company mainly operating shipping and logistics services in the Philippines, we have signed a Joint Venture Agreement (JVA) as of February 23rd, 2016.
We will be promptly proceeding to establish a joint venture.
Besides the distribution networks and services that we have built in Southeast Asia and the Far East region, our aim is to expand and strengthen our networks in India, the Middle East, and Arab countries. However, as the country is expected to have a greater role in the region in association with the inauguration of ASEAN Economic Community, we have decided to establish a joint venture in the country in order to strengthen distribution services between the islands and in the coastal waters.

Gothong Southern Shipping Lines Inc. was founded in 2005 as a shipping and general logistics service company affiliated to One Wilson Place Holding Inc., and it started shipping services between Cebu and Manila. At present, they cover all the main ports in the Philippines including Manila, Cebu, Butuan, Davao, Cagayan de Oro, Roxas, Aklan, Iloilo, Bacolod, Dumaguete, Zamboanga, Ozamiz, Iligan, Palawan, and Surigao. In Cebu, where the headquarters office is located, they manage the most efficient terminal operation.
Also, a variety of logistics equipment such as prime movers, trailers, and delivery vans have been installed and new services have been expanding.
With regards to the establishment of a joint venture with Suzue Corporation, Gothong Southern Shipping Lines Inc. gave us a comment saying "We intend port calls of our own medium-sized vessels at Japan in the near future."
