Our company held a treaty engagement and signing ceremony with Shureyas Shipping and Logistics Ltd. (Shirayas Shipping and Logistics, Head Office: Mumbai, India) ＜Transworld Group of Companies FZE, hereby referred to as Transworld Group)＞, which is engaged in shipping/marine transportation and ancillary distribution, at a hotel in Mumbai on June 12 (Mon) to finalize a Joint Venture Agreement (JVA) with India.
We are processing the registration procedures to officially establish the joint venture.

The parent establishment, Transworld Group, has a history of 40 years in operation (founded in 1977) and is expanding their business based in India, UAE and the United States. This joint venture company (partner) Shreyas Shipping and Logistics Ltd. is a pioneer of domestic coastal container transportation in India and is a company listed on both the Bombay Stock Exchange and the Indian National Stock Exchange.
Our fleet includes 10 of our own container ships with additional charters available to provide service routes primarily to the Near/Middle East and Bangladesh in addition to coastal transport throughout India and is expanding services connecting the Indian subcontinent and the Middle East.

The founding of a joint venture in India is aimed at further expanding and strengthening current distribution networks and services in Southeast Asia and the Far East and expanding services in South Asia and the Middle East. We will continue to address the needs of shippers who promote globalized management.
