On Friday, August 7, 2026, with the cooperation of Kawasho Foods Co., Ltd., we invited children from "Nukunuku," a children's cafeteria run by the NPO Lion Heart, to participate in a social studies field trip to logistics and port facilities as part of our social contribution activities.
On that day, they visited the Oi Rinkai Warehouse Sales Office and Tokyo Terminal Operation Center. At the Oi Rinkai Warehouse Sales Office, they observed forklift operations and the warehouse facilities, and learned about product storage and logistics systems through quizzes.
At Tokyo Terminal Operation Center, we introduced the role of port facilities and the current state of operations. Furthermore, visitors were able to enjoy a panoramic view of Tokyo Port from the Tokyo Waterfront Public Relations Exhibition Room, TOKYO Minatorie, and appreciate how logistics and ports support our daily lives.
The children were interested in the process by which Kawasho Foods Co., Ltd.'s products are stored in warehouses and delivered to various locations throughout Japan, and they actively asked questions. Through the enjoyable tour, they had the opportunity to deepen their understanding of logistics and port operations.
We hope this visit will serve as an opportunity for the children to learn about logistics work and its connection to society, and that it will lead to future learning and dreams.
Our company will continue to cherish our connections with the community through social contribution activities, while supporting the learning and growth of children.
