Investigation of necessary procedures

Inspection and verification for regulations of destination countries

We confirm the laws and regulations stipulated in each destination such as prohibited goods, cargo that require permission and pre-shipment inspection cargo, and provide support for smooth import clearance and delivery after arrival by notifying our customers in advance.

Pre-shipment inspection

The inspection company designated by the destination country checks the quality, quantity, and price of cargo and issues a certificate prior to shipment on behalf of the customs authorities in the destination country. Getting a certificate is mandatory in most cases, especially when exporting cars, machines, and equipment that are secondhand. In addition, we provide support for arranging the necessary inspections and procedures for certificate issuance on behalf of customers in the event that the shipping company has loading conditions.

Catch-All Controls

Cargoes that do not fall under the "list restrictions" to be controlled and regulated such as the export of goods and provision of technology with high possibility of military utilization also need to apply for permission as a complementary export regulation in case they are used to develop and manufacture normal weapons or weapons of mass destruction. This is meant to prevent the spread of weapons of mass destruction and excessive accumulation of normal weapons within the framework of security trade management.
We provide support for pre-export preparation for customers exporting goods such as confirmation on whether or not they fall within the regulation and publication advice for the parameter sheet.

Approval procedure for other laws and regulations

Plant protection inspection

Plant quarantine includes a wide range from plants used for cultivation such as seedlings, bulbs, and seeds; plants for consumption such as vegetables, fruits, cut flowers, wood and grains; and extends to harmful living insects and microorganisms. Inspections are conducted according to plant type and portion during import mainly to prevent pests from entering the country from abroad. SUZUE provides support for arranging the necessary inspections and procedures for certificate issuance on behalf of customers.

Storage inspection of hazardous goods

It is necessary for us to check whether the method of loading for hazardous items onto the corresponding ship and storage method in the container conforms to the technical standards stipulated by the relevant laws and regulations. We arrange for the inspection procedures to be carried out on the customer's behalf.
